The university was implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud across HR, Payroll and Finance.

Our engagement focused on developing custom Redwood applications within Oracle HCM Cloud to address three specific gaps in the university's Oracle Fusion environment.

These included streamlining employment contract e-signing, managing associate records for individuals outside the core payroll population to optimise Oracle licensing costs, and designing and developing a Confirmation of Payee solution integrating with bank account records to avoid downstream processing errors in Payroll and Finance.

Inflexible Contract Management

Oracle Fusion's standard contract functionality lacked the flexibility required for e-signing — creating administrative burden and delays for both HR teams and new employees.

No Dedicated System for Extended Workforce

Associates, affiliates and temporary staff outside the core payroll population were managed without a dedicated system — leading to inconsistent processes and limited oversight.

Bank Account Verification Risk

Oracle Fusion lacked an automated Confirmation of Payee capability — leaving bank account details unverified at source and creating risk of downstream processing errors in Payroll and Finance.

Streamlining Contracts Management in Oracle HCM Cloud

Developed a custom Redwood application within Oracle HCM Cloud to streamline the full contract management process — from creation to e-signing.

The solution provided contract administrators greater flexibility to handle unique contract scenarios, package multiple documents for e-signing and reduce time spent tracking individual signings — providing a seamless experience for new and existing employees.

Extended Workforce Management System

Designed and built a dedicated Redwood application to manage associates, affiliates and temporary staff outside the core payroll population — standardising processes from onboarding to exit, improving reporting and optimising Oracle licensing costs for this workforce group.

The solution integrated seamlessly with Oracle HCM Cloud for data exchange and simplified navigation across the platform.

Confirmation of Payee Solution

Designed and developed a Confirmation of Payee solution integrating with bank account records — enabling bank account details to be verified at source and eliminating the risk of downstream processing errors in Payroll and Finance.
